October Update Friends and family, I am excited to share my experience in Gabon with you! I am thankful for all of the encouragement that I have heard from you all in preparation and upon return. If possible, I would enjoy talking about my trip with you over the phone to share my experience in more detail and to hear how you are doing personally. Throughout the trip as we witnessed the healing that came from quality medical care and sharing in the vision of the staff, we meditated on "the final restoration all things" (Acts 3:21 NLT). Thank you for your encouragement at this time through your words and prayers. My team received our approvals for eVisas on the last possible business day before our departure!  We fly out on Monday—  Praise God with us! Gabon Project Trip 9/22/2021 Update Hello friends! My team and I would like to humbly ask for prayer that our eVisas would successfully come in before Monday. So far, we have had some issues which has caused us to shift our project dates, but we have a hospital business agent who is making progress on our approvals. As it stands, our travel is scheduled to be September 27 through October 9. So, as our team of prayer warriors, please remember my team in your intercessions to our King. As you pray, please consider the amazing work that is already done at Bongolo Hospital, and join us in EMI's vision to see "people restored by God and the world restored through design." End of July Update

(Of course we found New Orleans style brunch restaurant in COS) Hello friends! I am thrilled to be writing this update to you all. We have moved to our new apartment in Colorado Springs! Thank you all for your encouragement through prayer, gifts, and time. We have been blown away by the response of your generosity and love.  For the beginning of the fellowship program, we will be doing a 12 month small group called "The Journey" that integrates discipleship/spiritual formation/leadership development and invites participants to a meaningful walk guided by three primary questions: "Who is God?" "Who am I?" and "What does God desire to do through me?" I will also begin my fellowship by taking a seminary course through Thirdmill : " MIN610 : Kingdom, Covenants & Canon of the Old Testament" Also, thanks to your prayers, Katie will begin work as an elementary School SLP in Harrison School District (2) for this school year.    This month Katie and I got to experience EMI's virtual orientation! This was an amazing time to learn the vision and mission of EMI while meeting existing and future staff. We had culture and discipleship training; and we learned about staff resources.
